There are a lot of nonsense talked about meditation. I do not know what it can do for you because it is difficult to prove one way or the other. I read people who say they have discovered all sorts of things in meditation and who am I to say they are not just because I did not experience exactly the same.
I think there are many stages of evolution and therefore what is experienced in a person otherwise may experience a completely different way.
No, I mean there are a lot of trash talk about how to meditate. I read a piece today by someone who says, "... for a successful meditation practice, everything must be perfect ..... the room must be configured in such a way ..." And so on. The person who wrote this article seems to have not even thought of never speaking mused.
Meditation has always been the most frequently performed by people with a penchant spiritual. Of these, most people who were monks in meditation, as they sought information and had time to meditate and calm. It was difficult to find time or rest if you were a subsistence farmer with ten kids running everywhere.
However, the decline in orders of monks are famous for leading a rich life, in which "all is perfect .... They live a quiet life as they like to think, not be affected, not matter where they are, but especially in their cells.
My father used to hunt on top of a cliff and ponder behind a bush for 100 feet above the Bristol Channel. Often it did during the night.
It's a good idea for people to understand that when you want to live thinking that you should not try to make too much noise, and certainly not by name calling or running in the room in which.
How can you achieve this goal in your home, you know better than me, but speaking of unmarried couples and display a sign in a prominent place can help, you can always meditate at the same time of day, though usually not are useful. Most of us have to take our free time when you can.
Turn off everything that makes a noise. Turn off the phones and to the bell, if possible. Open the window, if not unbearably cold or raining cats and dogs. Shower and loose clothing as comfortable pajamas.
Sit on the floor, if you can, with your legs crossed, if you can. If you're almost there, try to sit on a pillow or cushion. There are elements called zafu or meditation cushions, which are small and thick.
Some are round and others square, but a round zafu can be 12 inches in diameter and four to six inches thick. This is for you land enough to take the stress of the hips and knees, if you're not used to sitting cross-legged.
It will promote correct posture, back straight. It's also softer on the back and when you are sitting comfortably, you can start.
